Much appreciated! Basically I drew a really small circle with a fill of white and no stroke in Illustrator.(Probably a good idea to have another layer underneath with black fill or draw in colour then change after blend stage later...) Used the Direct Selection Tool, dragged the left point of the circle outwards and then the right, then grabbed the anchor, on the point that I dragged outwards, rotated it back in to create a sharp edge and repeated this on the right side. At that point it looked like a circle with pointy wings! Best way I can describe it without a drawing!! Next I dragged this shape into the brushes palette, creating a new brush and selected new art brush from pop up box, making sure the arrow in the next pop up box was running along the width of the shape. Then I drew two slightly curved lines with the pen tool, selected the brush I just made and blended them with a specified number of steps (object>blend>blend options) which makes a funky abstract pattern once blend>make is selected. Played around with the stroke weight to see what looked good. And that's that...Put it on top of a layer in Photoshop, select soft light blending mode and Robert's your mothers brother!
Ohh pretty complicated.. May I as You if You could send me this brush that You made?;> This circle-like ^^ Thanks for such a big recomment anyway folk!
